Sea kayaking at Langebaan is one of the best ways to explore the southern lagoon in the West Coast National Park.
The southern reaches of Langebaan Lagoon are home to pink flamingos, porpoises, gulls, oysetercatchers, sand sharks, and other wetland life. This part of Langebaan is a RAMSAR site. In other words, the sensitive ecology is protected by an international treaty.
