Langebaan houseboat rental is a fun option for a weekend away and it is easy to rent a houseboat at Langebaan Lagoon.



The Langebaan houseboats are at Kraal Bay in the West Coast National Park. To get to the houseboats you need to drive through the West Coast Park towards Postberg. Enter the West Coast National Park from the R27 just past Yzerfontein, 30 km before the Langebaan turnoff. Kraal Bay is on the other side of the lagoon from Langebaan. There are no nearby shops, so bring everything with you.

Renting a Kraal Bay Houseboat is a relaxing way to spend a few days. Kraal Bay is relatively shallow, so the water is warmer there than anywhere else in Langebaan Lagoon and going for relaxing swims is a viable option. The beach at Kraal Bay is extremely private and is a wonderful ribbon of white sand. Staying on a houseboat here is a perfect beach holiday.

The rental is lower-mid-range per person if you hire the houseboat in a group, as the houseboat is rented out as a single unit.
